Tristen Judy
Practice Manager
Tristen obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from West Virginia University. After many years working as a social worker Tristen now serves as the Practice Manager of WV Dermatology. She has been with the practice since its formation in 2012. She works behind the scenes ensuring operations are running smoothly and that you have the best experience possible when you visit WV Dermatology.
In Tristen’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, twins Trey and Blake, Kora, and Jax.

Robin J. Hoblitzell, CMC, CMOM, CMIS
Office/Billing Manager
Robin is a former “stay at home” mom who went back to school at age 46 to become a Certified Medical Coder (CMC), Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM), and Certified Medical Insurance Specialist (CMIS) through Practice Management Institute. She began her career at West Virginia Dermatology in the fall of 2012 and she thoroughly enjoys using her knowledge and skills to oversee the daily operations of the facility while striving to promote a family-like atmosphere amongst the staff.
Robin is an empty nester who enjoys traveling to visit with each of her three children and grandson. She also likes quiet time at home.

Carrie Sayre
LPN/Nurse Supervisor
Carrie is the nursing supervisor for West Virginia Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center. She has been with our team since March 2013 and has been an amazing asset to our medical staff. She is responsible for managing the nursing staff and providing compassionate and reliable care to patients and their families.
Carrie and her husband, Nathan, reside in the Saint Albans area with their daughters. She enjoys crafts, cooking, and visiting her family in her hometown of Morgantown in her free time.

Molly Birckhead
Mohs Histotech
Molly works as a histologist in the lab processing patient specimens for Mohs surgery cases. We were fortunate to have Molly join our team in March 2015. Processing specimens in a timely and efficient manner is vital to the Mohs procedure. Molly’s meticulous nature and problem-solving skills, as well as her commitment to quality patient care, allow her to consistently meet that standard. She also helps the nurses with their work in any way she can.
Molly was part of the last graduating class of Duval High School in 2006, where she graduated with high honors. She also attended the University of Charleston, where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
When she is not working in the lab, Molly enjoys reading, traveling, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.

MARIAH BARRETT
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT-CERTIFIED
Mariah Barrett, PA-C, earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Clemson University before completing her physician assistant training at USC School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. She focuses on medical dermatology and enjoys treating a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, rashes, and skin growths. She also performs procedures such as cyst, lipoma, and skin cancer excisions.
Mariah is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and values creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient. She takes time to listen, educate, and ensure her patients feel confident in their treatment plans.
In her free time, Mariah enjoys spending time outdoors and trying new food spots in the area.

Kara Triplett
Clinical Certified Medical Assistant
Kara is a 2015 Braxton County graduate. Upon graduation, she traveled to Bridgeport, where she earned her Associate’s Degree as a Clinically Certified Medical Assistant at WV Junior College. She now resides in Charleston, WV, with her husband Justin. Kara has been with the practice since 2017. Outside of the office, Kara enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, attending stand-up comedy shows, and going to concerts. Kara is currently continuing her education at Bridge Valley and getting her RN degree.

I absolutely love to work! Anything medical-related, you can always count me in. I love patient care and the ability to help others in ways they aren’t able to help themselves. The medical field has always been a true passion of mine.
During my 11th and 12th grade years in high school, I went to Ben Franklin Career Center for Medical Assisting. I graduated from high school as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant in 2011. I also took a Phlebotomy course and became a Phlebotomist in 2013 from Bridge Valley Community & Technical College. I plan to pursue my career in becoming a RN. My long-term goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Betty Young
Office Assistant/Referral Specialist
Betty has fifteen years of medical office experience working in reception and with health insurance. She processes referrals, sets up new patient appointments, and verifies insurance coverage. Betty joined our team in November 2017. She graduated from the National Institute of Technology for Medical Assistance and Billing in 2004.
In her free time, Betty enjoys reading, traveling, taking pictures, and spending time with her family, husband Paul, and fur-babies, Precious, Zelda, and Bella. Betty has 2 children, 3 step-children, 2 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons.

Kayla Painter

My name is Kayla Painter, I am 23 years old, and I am a certified medical assistant. I attended West Virginia Junior College after high school and graduated in 2018 with my Associate’s Degree. I joined the team at WV Dermatology in November of 2021. I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, our 3 beautiful children (2 daughters and my stepson), and my family and friends. I enjoy working in the medical field, where I get to help take care of others. I would like to further my career to become an RN in the future.

Jasmine Symns
Jasmine has an associate’s degree in nursing from Bridge Valley. After graduating, she gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, working in the emergency room. During that time, she developed strong clinical skills, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure while caring for patients during some of their most critical moments.
After experiencing both the rewards and emotional challenges of emergency care, Jasmine chose to transition into dermatology, where she continues to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a new specialty. In addition to her healthcare background, she played collegiate basketball at West Virginia State University following high school.

Kelly Baldwin
Billing Specialist
Kelly was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and raised in a small town in Southeast Ohio. Kelly graduated from Belmont College in 2009 with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science for Medical Assisting.
Kelly moved to Elkview, WV, in 2015 and joined the staff at WV Dermatology in December of 2015. Kelly enjoys spending her free time with her spouse, 3 amazing stepchildren, and dogs.
Kelly works in the billing department for the practice. She deals directly with the insurance companies and patients on the financial aspect of the practice. She enjoys helping patients understand their coverage and working to ensure the accuracy of all benefits and claims.

Medical Claims Management Specialist
Christi joined the staff in September 2024. She has 13 years of experience in the medical building field. Christi knew WV Dermatology would be a great place to work after being a patient for over 5 years and receiving wonderful care in a friendly environment.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, Jason, and her two sons, Dylan and Dru. She also enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness. Hallie enjoys working out, spending time with her friends and family, and also works as a nanny. Amanda Scites
Billing Assistant
Amanda Scites is a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional who joined WV Dermatology in October 2024. Amanda began as a receptionist but quickly shifted over to billing as a billing assistant. A 2001 graduate of Chapmanville High School, Amanda had worked in the medical field since 2018. With a strong background in pharmacy, she thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a detail-oriented approach to patient care. Amanda is a nationally certified pharmacy technician and also holds a veterinary assistant certificate. These accolades reflect her broad skill set and passion for helping both people and animals.
Outside of work, Amanda is a proud mom of two boys, Landon and Sutton, and a proud wife to her husband, Bucky. She’s a very devoted fur mama. In her free time, she enjoys creating custom shirts with personalized designs, as well as spending quality time with her friends and family.
