Tristen Judy

Practice Manager

Tristen obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from West Virginia University. After many years working as a social worker Tristen now serves as the Practice Manager of WV Dermatology. She has been with the practice since its formation in 2012. She works behind the scenes ensuring operations are running smoothly and that you have the best experience possible when you visit WV Dermatology.

In Tristen’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, twins Trey and Blake, Kora and Jax.

Robin J. Hoblitzell, CMC, CMOM, CMIS

Office/Billing Manager

Robin is a former “stay at home” mom who went back to school at age 46 to become a Certified Medical Coder (CMC), Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM), and Certified Medical Insurance Specialist (CMIS) through Practice Management Institute. She began her career at West Virginia Dermatology in the fall of 2012 and she thoroughly enjoys using her knowledge and skills to oversee the daily operations of the facility while striving to promote a family-like atmosphere amongst the staff.

Robin is an empty nester who recently became a “YaYa” to her first grandchild. She enjoys traveling to visit with each of her three children and grandson. She also spends a lot of quality time with her parents and especially likes quiet time at home with her pets.

Carrie Sayre

LPN/Nurse Supervisor

Carrie is the nursing supervisor for West Virginia Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center. She has been with our team since March 2013 and has been an amazing asset to our medical staff. She is responsible for managing the nursing staff and providing compassionate and reliable care to patients and their families.

Carrie and her husband, Nathan, reside in the Saint Albans area with their daughters. She enjoys crafts, cooking, and visiting her family in her hometown of Morgantown in her free time.

Molly Birckhead

Mohs Histotech

Molly works as a histologist in the lab processing patient specimens for Mohs surgery cases. We were fortunate to have Molly join our team in March 2015. Processing specimens in a timely and efficient manner is vital to the Mohs procedure. Molly’s meticulous nature and problem-solving skills, as well as her commitment to quality patient care, allow her to consistently meet that standard. She also helps the nurses with their work in any way she can.

Molly was part of the last graduating class of Duval High School in 2006, where she graduated with high honors. She also attended the University of Charleston, where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.

When she is not working in the lab, Molly enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with her family and her husband, James.

Cam Jividen

Clinical Certified Medical Assistant

Cam is a medical assistant at West Virginia Dermatology and Skin Surgery center. He received his undergraduate degree from Marshall University in 2015. Cam continued his education and is now certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant. We were excited when Cam joined our staff in August of 2015. Cam is very involved with sports in the Winfield school system as a former athlete and current coach. He has aspirations to continue his education in a physician’s assistant program.

Kara Carr

Kara Triplett

Clinical Certified Medical Assistant

Kara is a 2015 Braxton County graduate. Upon graduation she traveled to Bridgeport where she earned her Associates Degree as a Clinically Certified Medical Assistant at WV Junior College. She now resides in Charleston, WV with her husband Justin. Kara has been with the practice since 2017. My role as an MA at West Virginia Dermatology is providing patient care, assisting providers in minor procedures and/or surgeries, calling patients with pathology results, referrals and coordinating care for patients with biologic medications. Outside of the office I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, staying active and spending time with friends and family.

Lexis Vance

Clinical Certified Medical Assistant

My name is Lexis Vance, I am 26 years old and I am from South Charleston, WV. I am soon to be Mrs. Davis, to my amazing fiancé Howard. We share two beautiful children together, (son) Jhavie` and (daughter) Ayla.

I absolutely love to work! Anything medical related, you can always count me in. I love patient care and the ability to help others in ways they aren’t able to help themselves. The medical field has always been a true passion of mine. My 11th and 12th grade years in high school I went to Ben Franklin Career Center for Medical Assisting. I graduated high school as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant in 2011. I also took a Phlebotomy course and became a Phlebotomist in 2013 from Bridge Valley Community & Technical College. I plan to pursue my career in becoming a RN. My long-term goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Before having kids, I cheered and played basketball. Now my hobbies include hanging out with my family and doing outdoor activities.

Kelly Baldwin

Billing Specialist

Kelly was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in a small town in Southeast Ohio. Kelly graduated from Belmont College in 2009 with an Associates degree in Applied Science for Medical Assisting.

Kelly moved to Elkview, WV in 2015 and joined the staff at WV Dermatology in December of 2015. Kelly enjoys spending her free time with her spouse, 3 amazing stepchildren and dogs.

Kelly works in the billing department for the practice. She deals directly with the insurance companies and patients on the financial aspect of the practice. She enjoys helping patients understand their coverage and working to ensure accuracy of all benefits and claims.

Betty Young

Office Assistant/Referral Specialist

Betty has fifteen years of medical office experience working in reception and with health insurance. She processes referrals, sets up new patient appointments, and verifies insurance coverage. Betty joined our team in November 2017. She graduated from National Institute of Technology for Medical Assistance and Billing in 2004.

In her free time Betty enjoys reading, traveling, taking pictures and spending time with her family, husband Paul and fur-babies, Precious, Zelda and Bella. Betty has 2 children, 3 step-children, 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.

Hello! My name is Grace Cobble and I joined West Virginia Dermatology's team in November 2022. I am dedicated to helping people and doing what I can for others. I like being the receptionist here because it gives me an opportunity to greet everyone and try to make their day better. When I'm not at the office I enjoy spending time with my husband Dylan and my friends and family. I like board games, painting, disc golf and nature. I try to make sure every day I have is spent doing something beneficial, fun, or relaxing. I hope to continue pursuing my goals with the help of West Virginia Dermatology.

Cara graduated from Hurricane High School in 2012. She went on to study at Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City where she graduated with honors with a BS in Behavioral Science. She wanted to continue her education so she completed the exam to become a National Registered & Certified Medical Assistant. In Cara’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids, James and Adalynn.

My name is Kayla Painter, I am 23 years old and I am a certified medical assistant. I attended West Virginia Junior College after high school and graduated in 2018 with my Associate's Degree. Since then I have worked in dermatology for over 4 years but recently joined the team at WV Dermatology in November of 2021. I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, our 3 beautiful children (2 daughters and my stepson), and my family and friends. I enjoy working in the medical field where I get to help take care of others. I would like to further my career to become an RN in the future.

Office Assistant

Hallie is a 2009 graduate of George Washington High School. After graduation Hallie attended Mars Hill University in North Carolina where she played collegiate soccer. She graduated with a bachelors degree in Health and Wellness. Hallie enjoys working out, spending time with her friends and family and also works as a nanny. Hallie has been a huge asset to WV Dermatology and we are excited to have her on our team.

I was born and raised in West Virginia; I graduated Valedictorian of my class in 2009 from King's Way Christian Academy. I am married to my best friend and have a beautiful step son who is 6 years old. My brother has 2 kids, and we are extremely close. I love to spend time with my family. We are old fashioned and love having family dinners as often as possible. In my free time, I love riding my motorcycle and doing charity events with my riding club, The Valkyries. I also love to travel and read. My favorite authors are Kiersten Modglin and Colleen Hoover.

I have 10+ years of experience in the medical field through various job opportunities. I am excited to be a part of this growing team and I look forward to my future here!

Crystal came to WV Dermatology with 20+ years in the medical billing and coding field. She is a certified professional coder through the American Academy of Professional coders and also serves as an education officer with her local chapter. She is from Wymoing County where she graduated in 1987 from Glen Rogers High School. Currently Crystal lives in Cross Lanes with her husband and her Mother. Crystal's favorite way to spend her time is being with her six grandchildren. Crystal is a wonderful asset to our practice!
